Why is resistance double self-harm?
Resistance is double loss
If we see the mechanism of resistance or fight, we will never waste our energy in resisting anything. But it becomes a blind spot for us because we often inwardly move into a fight automatically when our emotion is triggered by “something bad”.
When you resist something, what actually happens is your consciousness “applies” to what you don’t want: you have to hold it in in your mind in order to fight it. Not only that, a pattern in your brain called “fighting” is activated; you will feel your head is swelling with anger and you receive flood of chemicals releasing by the emotion.
If you fight with something labeled as bad in yourself, it’s one part of your brain fights with another part. Both are your energy.
If you fight with something labeled as bad in others, that fight also activates the fighting energy in them; you will get double fighting energy: from yourself and from others. And once the fighting mode in others is activated by you, now you will go into a vicious circle of fighting. A wrong direction for investing energy starts…
That is crazy. Double self-harm. Double loss.
But you don’t see this because once your mind labels something as bad, the fight with that something happens automatically. And you unconsciously move into a fight with the “bad”.
Why don’t you let it go and flow?
Talk to your mind “It’s fine. Let it be its way.” Release that something and you can go your way effortlessly.
